Vincent has been supplying his customers with Appledore traditional free range bronze turkeys for 18 years. The turkeys are reared at the Appledore turkey farm in Kent. You can be sure of the tastiest possible meal, because their turkeys have been raised to the highest standard.
Choose either a Bronze free range turkey, a turkey crown on the bone or a boneless stuffed turkey breast. All the bronze turkeys come in an easy to carry box with cooking instructions, a pop up thermometer and a sprig of rosemary ready for your preparation.
Order your chipolatas and pigs in blanket to accompany your turkey. Goose fat for superb roasted potatoes and Port & Wine Redcurrant Jelly or traditional Cranberry Sauce for accompaniments.

When you purchase a Totally Traditional Turkey from Vincent’s you can be sure of the tastiest possible Christmas meal. The Appledore Quality Assurance Code guarantees that their turkeys are:
1 | Reared and produced with the greatest care by independent farmers, dedicated to producing the finest turkeys |

EU legislation provides a system to protect food names on a geographical or traditional recipe basis. The system highlights regional and traditional food whose authenticity and origin can be guaranteed. Wine and cheese were some of the first to benefit, and within the UK the Traditional Farmfresh Turkey was the first product to gain recognition with a designation for ‘Traditional Speciality Guaranteed’.
The regulations state that to qualify a product ‘must be traditional or established by custom. Distinguishing features of the product must not be due to the geographical area it is produced in, nor entirely based on technical advances in the methods of production’.
The scheme requires annual inspections to ensure that protected products continue to comply with specifications. It protects registered products against imitation throughout the EU, and enables them to carry an EU symbol to help consumers recognise their traditional, authentic nature.
For an alternative to turkey, you can order Free Range Geese or Free Range Ducks or a succulent aged Rib of Beef.
Don’t forget Boxing Day – order a delicious gammon ham either on or off the bone. Choose from either a traditional Oaked Smoked Ham or Unsmoked, cooked or ready for you to cook yourselves.
EASTER
Traditionally Lamb is eaten – either as a roasted leg prepared with fresh garlic and rosemary or a slow roasted shoulder of lamb both prepared ready for the oven. Very popular also is a slow roasted Lamb Shank, served with spring onion mash and a rich port sauce.
As an alternative why not try a Stuffed Loin of Pork with Spinach, Apricots & Pine Nuts – already prepared by your butcher and ready for you to pop into the oven.
BBQ
Vincent’s prides itself in supplying a full range of meats to cook on the BBQ. During the spring and summer months, we have special promotions on our BBQ packs which include pork spare ribs, steak burgers, lamb koftas, mixed meat kebabs, steaks and a large selection of home-made sausages.
All of the meats are available also with a selection of glazes and sauces to enhance their flavour – Thai is a particular favourite when added to Chicken if gives a fantastic alternative to plain chicken. Our famous traditional homemade Italian sausages with sea salt, pepper and fennel, and homemade 100% scotch beef steak burgers are perfect for the BBQ. Made fresh every day on the premises, we can advise and provide for any event or occasion. Available in special BBQ packs to serve from 1, 2 or 10 – 50 people.
